Big News from Alexander College: Alebex Ranks #1 in Canada
Alebex, developed through the Alexander Innovation Centre (AIC) in Vancouver, has achieved #8 globally and #1 in Canada for streaming speech-to-text technology on the Independent Analysis of AI benchmark, competing alongside leading global technology companies including Google, Microsoft, Nvidia and Amazon. The Alexander Innovation Centre (AIC) is the technology, research, and startup incubation hub of Alexander College.
For Alexander College students, this reflects a broader vision: connecting education with innovation and technology, shaping the future of business. That vision is now reflected in our newly approved BBA in e-Business Management, where students explore AI, analytics, digital transformation, and e-commerce.
This achievement reflects the innovation ecosystem behind our BBA in e-Business Management. Students learn business at Alexander College, while AIC serves as their innovation hub—connecting classroom applied learning with AI, real-world projects and industry.
As of September 24, Alebex’s achievement has officially received news coverage across Canada, including features in The Province, the Toronto Star, and The Globe and Mail.
For students, this means work integrated learning the business of technology while being connected to an ecosystem where technology is being built. Alexander College is where students learn. AIC is where they apply. Alebex shows what is possible
